Your quote answers. Your Eircode and the answers you give in the price flow (house type, bedrooms, heating system and so on). We use these to work out your estimate and, if you book a survey, to prepare for it. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Contact details. Name, phone number and email — only when you book a survey, join a waitlist or contact us. We use them to arrange your survey and reply to you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Technical data. Basic logs (IP address, pages visited) needed to run and secure the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site working. Analytics beyond this runs only if you consent (see cookies below).

Marketing. We only send marketing if you've said yes to it, and every message includes an unsubscribe. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

While you're moving through the price flow, your answers are stored in your own browser (session storage) — they don't reach us at all until you submit them with your contact details. Close the tab without submitting and we never see them.

Nobody buys your data from us — not now, not ever. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, acting on our instructions: HubSpot (managing enquiries and bookings) and Vercel (hosting the website). If your job goes ahead, we share what the grant application needs with the SEAI, with your knowledge.

The site works with essential cookies only. Anything beyond that — analytics or measurement — is set only after you say yes to it in the cookie notice, and declining changes nothing about how the site works for you.

If you get an estimate but don't go ahead, we keep your enquiry for up to 24 months in case you come back, then delete it. If you become a customer, we keep job records for as long as warranty, grant and tax rules require. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or hand it over in a portable format. Email hello@toasty.ie and we'll sort it — no forms, no fuss.

If you're not happy with how we've handled something, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie — though we'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top. We won't quietly weaken it.
